Supported by well-maintained equipment and proven experience, our team is trained and focused on the safe operation of drilling rigs. In addition, each employee participates in regular training, certifications, and continuing education programs.

Michael Glynn

Mike Glynn is Director of Drilling Field Operations, based in the Springfield, Massachusetts office of Seaboard Drilling, LLC. In this role, he leads field teams across Southern New England and New Hampshire, overseeing day-to-day operations and supporting field crews with a focus on safety, efficiency, and consistent project execution.

Mike began his career as a Driller’s Apprentice in 1997 and joined Seaboard Drilling Inc. in 1998. He advanced through roles operating Earthprobe and drill rigs, installing monitoring wells, and performing soil sampling, building experience that supported his promotion to Driller in 2003. Since then, he has operated a wide range of drill rigs and Geoprobes, working across all six New England states and New York.

He was promoted to Drilling Operations Manager in 2023 before assuming his current role.

Kevin Hanscom

Kevin Hanscom is Director of Drilling Business Operations, based in the Bangor, Maine office of Seaboard Drilling, LLC. He coordinates schedules, resources, and workload planning to support drilling operations, with a focus on Northern New England.

Kevin joined S.W. Cole Engineering, Inc. (S.W.COLE) in 1991 and spent 24 years primarily as a Geotechnical Engineer, managing subsurface investigations, geotechnical design, and pavement-related services. In 2015, he played a key role in launching S.W.COLE’s test boring exploration subsidiary, where he served as General Manager and Driller.

Beginning in 2020, Kevin worked as a Driller specializing in rotary drilling and Cone Penetration Testing (CPT). In 2023, S.W.COLE acquired Seaboard Drilling Inc. and merged it with its existing drilling operations to form Seaboard Drilling, LLC. Kevin was promoted to Drilling Operations Manager in 2025 before transitioning to his current role.

Alec Hills

Alec Hills serves as a Drilling Services Coordinator for Seaboard Drilling and is based out of our Springfield, Massachusetts office. His responsibilities include coordinating utility clearance, locating explorations, and supporting our drill crews and equipment mechanics. He has an undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts – Amherst. He joined Seaboard Drilling as a Drilling Assistant in October 2023 and was promoted to Drilling Services Coordinator in January 2024.

Dylan Knowles

Dylan Knowles is a Drilling Services Coordinator based out of our Bangor, Maine office. He joined our team as a Drilling Assistant in October 2021 and was promoted to Drilling Services Coordinator in 2025. Dylan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and holds a CDL-A license. In his current role, he supports our drill crews and clients.

Jeremy Adams

Jeremy (Jay) Adams serves as Drill Foreman II/Shop Foreman at our Somersworth, New Hampshire office. Jay joined our team as a Drilling Assistant in September 2021 and holds a CDL-A license. As Shop Foreman, he coordinates tooling and material ordering for the Somersworth shop and serves as a resource to drillers and drilling assistants. In addition to his shop responsibilities, Jay works in the field as a Drill Foreman.

Michael Kern

Mike Kern serves as Drill Foreman II/Shop Foreman at our Springfield, Massachusetts office. Mike joined Seaboard Drilling, LLC in February 2023 when Seaboard Drilling, Inc. merged with S.W.COLE Explorations, LLC to form the current company. Prior to the merger, Mike had several years of experience with Seaboard Drilling, Inc. As Shop Foreman, he coordinates orders for materials and instrumentation and serves as a resource to field personnel. In addition to his shop responsibilities, Mike works in the field as a Drill Foreman.
